The BEST grooms gift ever! ~Des Moines boudoir photographer

Hello lovlies!

It is almost springtime...I swear you wouldn't know it by the fearfully cold weather we have had lately here in Iowa...but it is really going to be here soon! When I think spring I always think of weddings. Maybe that is my years of being a wedding photographer located in Ames. There is a fantastic little trend going around right now of giving your groom some special photos of yourself as his groom's gift.

What groom wouldn't want beautiful, sexy images of his new wife! But even better...what woman wouldn't love to spend time shopping for pretty new lingerie...getting all glammed up with the help of a professional hair and makeup artist and then creating those images with a fantastic photographer?? I don't know about you ladies...but I don't really need to try too hard to come up with excuses to by new shoes, or lingerie for that matter. These sessions are a great excuse for a little "you time". Planning a wedding is stressful and hectic; you deserve a little time to unwind and enjoy a glamorous pampering photo session.

A modern glamour or boudoir session is also a great time to do a trial run on your wedding hair and makeup. This is also a really good "cover story" for the surprise if your fiance will see you all dolled up after our session. ;-)

Hello there gorgeous!

I'll be honest, Ms. J is just amazing! She was sweet, she was funny and she has this amazing personality that just sparkles right out of her. We had an amazing time shooting her session! Don't get me wrong, I love all of my sessions...including all of the amazing ones that you guys don't even get to see...

Corsets are one of my favorite clothing options to recommend! They are great for accenting curves and supporting breasts. They are also forgiving on sizing to a certain extent due to the lace up nature. Do be careful not to purchase a really flimsy one though! The flimsy fabric won't hold things in place the way you want it to.
